About ALPHATEC® 808

Low-Viscosity Epoxy Grout

ALPHATEC® 808 is a pumpable, three-part epoxy grout created for heavy machinery foundations in both cracked and uncracked concrete.

Its specialised aggregate blend supports easy pumping, ensuring hard-to-reach gaps are effectively filled.

Engineered for high compressive strength (up to 95 MPa) and minimal creep, it reliably transfers static and dynamic loads in tough industrial environments.

Features

High flow characteristics for peristaltic or standard pumping
Consistent performance under high loads with minimal creep
Quick cure time (24–36 hours) at room temperature
Excellent bond strength to steel and concrete

ALPHATEC® 808 effortlessly fills tight spaces and handles heavy loads, making it a go-to solution for demanding machinery foundations.

Some technical information

Compressive strength reaches about 95 MPa, flexural strength around 25 MPa, and tensile bond to steel measures 19.3 MPa.

A 70-minute pot life at 23°C offers ample working time, while its negligible shrinkage and low thermal expansion coefficient ensure stable, long-lasting support.

Packaging & Mixing

Supplied as a pre-measured, three-component kit that produces approximately 13 litres, ALPHATEC® 808 is mixed by first blending the resin and hardener for at least two minutes, then gradually incorporating the aggregate until fully coated.

A slow-speed, non-aerating “Jiffy” blade mixer helps avoid air entrapment. Larger packaging options are available on request, with slight mix adjustments for varying temperature conditions.
