About ALPHATEC® 800

High-Performance Epoxy Grout

ALPHATEC® 800 is a heavy-duty, aggregate-filled epoxy grout specifically designed to secure large rotating equipment and machinery foundations.

Its advanced formulation handles both static and dynamic loads up to a contact temperature of 70°C, maintaining high mechanical integrity and chemical resistance.

Available in standard and winter grades (effective from 0°C to 10°C), it delivers rapid curing and lasting durability for demanding industrial applications.

Features

Exceptional mechanical strength under static and dynamic loads
High creep resistance for long-term stability
Negligible shrinkage on cure
Oil and chemical resistance for harsh environments

ALPHATEC® 800 delivers powerful load transfer and robust stability, even in challenging industrial conditions.

What is it used for?

Repair work and for new installations of:

    • Dieselengines
    • Reciprocating compressors
    • Electric Motors
    • Pumps
    • Blowers
    • Fans
    • Rolling mills
    • Presses
    • Turbines
    • Many other types of rotating machinery

Typical compressive strength exceeds 80 MPa, with minimal shrinkage and reliable performance. Flexural and tensile strengths support sustained industrial loads, ensuring consistent performance across varied conditions.

Packaging and Mixing

ALPHATEC® 800 is provided in pre-measured kits with epoxy liquid, hardener, and green 001 aggregate (UNE-EN 1504-6 compliant).

After combining all hardener with the liquid component for at least two minutes, the aggregate is gradually added.

Optimal mixing ensures uniform consistency and allows for efficient on-site placement.

Low temperatures may require slightly preheated materials to achieve the best flow properties.
