ALPHATEC® 628TC is a high performance, epoxy-filled, flooring screed material with superior mechanical and chemical properties, which forms the final layer of the ALPHATEC® 628 lining system. It can also be used as an independent lining or coating, usually on top of clean concrete, which has been primed with ALPHATEC® 600 or 442.
ALPHATEC® 628TC is widely used in repair work in industrial plants, parking garages, and chemical plants, as well as for new installations where long-term concrete protection is required. The standard primer is ALPHATEC® 600, for surfaces which have been prepared by mechanical means, such as scabbling, grinding, dry abrasive blasting, chipping or scarifying, while ALPHATEC® 442 primer is used when wet blasting or wet grinding is used as the surface preparation method. The thickness of this coating is normally between 200 and 500 μm (0.2 – 0.5 mm)
